Hello there! My name is Ty, or Teathy, and I am an illustrator and character artist based in the PNW who specializes in 3/4 shoulder-up portraits and illustrations of girls looking off into the middle distance. My work is inspired by anime, music, pop culture, and whatever I am currently obsessed with at that moment in time. I myself am inspired by the many amazing artists I have had the privilege of being surrounded by.

I enjoy the act of creating, the process is very satisfying to me and I love to see a piece come together. Character creation has been a passion of mine for several years now, I love to design and write interesting people and put them in interesting situations and scenarios. Character design is what got me interested in drawing in the first place and started my art journey; right after I turned 14 I made my first fan-made OC for the anime Hetalia, and for the last 11 years I have been slowly but surely improving my artistic skills. Within the last few years, I have become interested in illustration and have been pursuing it in a more professional manner.

In the tangible world, you can find my work in the 2025 Spring addition of Spokane Sequential, and I have been lucky to been able to table at the 2024 Spokane Zine Fest, as well as the 2024 Lilic City Comic-Con. Academically, I am entirely self-taught, but I will be attending school for Fine Arts in the fall, and I hope to improve my skills further in a classroom setting by learning the necessary techniques and the fundamentals.

I have always been a lover of stories and storytelling and used to dream to be a world-renowned author. Now I combine that previous dream with my love of art and wish to make stories and characters that can reach and speak to people. I would love to make an impact in the world with my work and stories. My current project is a graphic novel that has been in the works for many years, and I hope to finish it soon!

Thank you so much for your time, I appreciate you very much!
